What preparations should be made before entering a Multi-purpose furnace


1) Check the pre-heat condition of the processed parts, understand the material condition, and provide the necessary chemical composition reports. The processing status, whether the workpiece has defects, damage, oxidation, and products with obvious forging oxidation enter the multi-purpose furnace. The oxide films of metal oxides FEO and FE2O3 undergo chemical reactions with [CO], [C], CH4, CO2, H2, and H2O in different temperature segments and under the controllable atmosphere in the furnace. The presence of loose FEO will accelerate the oxidation of the workpiece in the furnace. After heating quenching or carburizing quenching, the oxidized products entering the furnace will have an oxide shell. This does not mean that the atmosphere inside the furnace is bad. Before entering the furnace, it is a forged surface, and only the feet of the large end are processed.




2) Enter the furnace to clean the products. The management of the cleaning solution and the calculation ratio of its concentration should be regularly added and replaced according to the output. After adding the cleaning agent, stir thoroughly. The usage temperature should be below 60 to 80 degrees Celsius to ensure that the cleaning agent is completely dissolved in water, with a large amount of cleaning agent suspended on the surface of the cleaning agent. When the workpiece is lifted from the cleaning solution, the cleaning agent adheres to the surface of the workpiece. After incomplete spraying, spots are prone to form on the surface of the workpiece. Affect the surface quality of the workpiece.


3) Procurement and application of anti-seepage coatings. If the products in the furnace do not require carburizing, they need to undergo anti-seepage treatment, and the concentration or proportion of anti-seepage coating material should be selected according to different needs. Dry at an appropriate drying temperature and check the uniformity of the coating before entering the furnace to avoid leakage.
