Leave a messageAnalysis of the Causes and Solutions for the Short Circuit Problem of the UZ Mesh belt furnace
Many years ago, our company purchased a Multi-purpose furnace Heat treatment production line. Since it was put into use, the terminal block behind the Tempering furnace and the outer shell of the tempering furnace have short-circuited many times, causing inconvenience for maintenance. At the same time, smoke was still emitted from the fan motor shaft above the tempering furnace, the furnace door and the lead terminals at the back of the furnace at the beginning of the tempering process.
Analysis of the reasons why UZ Network brought back to the stove
This multi-purpose furnace production line is mainly used for carburizing, quenching and tempering of gears, shafts, connecting rods and pins of motorcycle engines, as well as quenching and tempering of cranks, etc. The quenching medium is oil. Although the parts need to be degreased, cleaned and dried before tempering after quenching, due to the inaccuracy of degreasing and drying, it is inevitable that a lot of oil and moisture will remain on the workpieces. During tempering, as the temperature rises, oil and water evaporate. Due to the greater pressure inside the tempering furnace than outside, the oil and water overflow and turn into liquid on the outer surface of the furnace, thereby reducing the resistance of the insulator between the terminal block and the housing. When the value is low, a short circuit occurs, the insulator is broken down, and the terminal block burns together with the furnace shell. Due to the large amount of oil sludge behind the furnace, sometimes a fire is caused during a short circuit, burning the connecting wires.

From the above analysis, it can be known that the reason why the furnace gas emerges from the wiring is that there is no dedicated exhaust duct. If exhaust ducts are added, the occurrence of the above problems will be reduced. Then where is the exhaust port located? Although the gas rises, to ensure uniform temperature during tempering, the fan should be turned on. Under the action of the fan, the gas inside the furnace circulates. We believe that it is better to open the exhaust port at the bottom of the workpiece rack, which is also convenient for operation. Later, on another multi-purpose furnace production line we purchased, we added an exhaust system to lead the gas inside the furnace to the outside. At the beginning, there was no valve part B installed, and the oil, water and gas in the furnace were directly discharged to the outside. The problem with it is that when the oil, water and gas inside the furnace flow through the pipes outside the furnace, due to the low temperature of the pipes, the oil, water and gas turn into liquid, and the liquid seeps out from the pipe joints, polluting the indoor environment. Later, part B was added, and the valve at B was opened regularly to discharge the accumulated oil and water. When tempering, valves A and B can be opened or closed as needed. During low-temperature tempering, valves A and B can be directly opened. Production has proved that this has no adverse effect on quality.
