The melting temperature should not exceed 450℃.


Multi-purpose furnace manufacturers need to clean up the scum on the liquid surface of the zinc pan, timely add zinc material, and maintain the normal height of the molten liquid level, because too much scum and too low liquid level are easy to cause slag into the gooseneck cylinder, pull the steel, the hammer and the cylinder itself, resulting in the stuck hammer, gooseneck and the hammer scrap.


The scum above the molten liquid is stirred calmly with a slag rake to gather it for removal.



Charge into furnace and power supply:

First, the charge into the furnace: before the charge into the furnace, the electric furnace steelmaker should review the weight and alloying elements and components of the charge according to the operation plan and the batching list, and put 1~2% lime in the bottom of the furnace. After the charge is put into the furnace, the too high charge should be pressed or lifted out, so as not to affect the buckle of the furnace cover, and prevent the furnace cover from being arched and leaking.


The top of the basket should be commanded by a special person, and after the furnace cover is opened, the basket should be quickly lifted into the center of the furnace, which should not be too high, too wide and too low. Keep the chain plate of the basket as low as possible without being glued. For the secondary feeding, it is not necessary to wait for the primary material to be completely cleared before adding the material, so as to avoid the injection and splashing of the liquid steel, and at the same time to prevent explosion.



2. Power supply: After the furnace charge is put into the furnace, the furnace cover, electrode, mechanical transmission system, water cooling system, electrical equipment, etc. should be checked before power supply, and the fault should be dealt with in time to avoid shutdown during smelting; Check whether the charge is in contact with the furnace door or the water cooling system of the well furnace. If there is contact, it should be excluded immediately to avoid breakdown after power transmission. When the electrode is not long enough, it should be replaced before power transmission, such as the joint position is loose to facilitate the success of a well penetration, it should be tightened first to reduce the shutdown caused by the smelting process.
